This branch has a work ethic problem. They are uncooperative and refuse to help the customer with simple requests. I asked for a simple letter to verify that we had an account. I offered to supply the letter template that was supposed to be used. I even spoke with the manager and she said that the customer service department has to do that. I called customer service and they said that the branch was supposed to do that. Need I say more?
Very rude teller/notary that refused to notarize letter because it didn't have "signature lines" for her to sign and list her info. She told me to go to UPS. I have been a customer since 1991. They have notarized this same letter before and managed to improvise. The letter was a template that I had to use for the government, which did not contain the signature lines. PNC also doesn't train their mortgage dept. and loan officers so that they understand how the process works. I've had problems with 3 different loans not being done correctly. Their customer service is seriously lacking and unacceptable. I'm considering changing banks. I chose another bank for my business that goes above and beyond.
