To whom it may concern:
I opened an account with the Southern Missouri Savings and Loan Association in 1980 with $10.00 apdated it in 1985 fully intending to add to it when I could and forgetting about it so I wouldn't dip into it hoping to have a little bit of money in my later years. Life didn't cooperate with that plan. I did forget about it, but so did the bank. Well life took a turn. I came across my savings book think maybe I found some money that is despitely needed. But I can't seem to get any help in recovering the account, no one will put any effort into finding it or letting me know anything. I've been treated as if it don't exist. I guess its not enough to worry about. But let me tell you in my world every little bit helps no matter how small it may be! I would appreciate a little cooperation in this matter. I won't go into the things I am facing I will just say my own bank can't help!
If you use Southern Bank in Doniphan and you are sick and tired of not being able to call your local bank join me in requesting every time you try to call them and are routed through Poplar Bluff that they stop this nonsense and let us call our bank directlly!!!
