VILLAGE BANK AND TRUST RATINGS

Today I went into the Midtown location to deposit a check from Com Ed that was written out to my husband. My husband is not included on my bank accounts. My husband endorsed the check and it was my intention to co-sign the check to deposit into my account that I use for automatic bill pay. The teller refused to deposit this check as he was not on the account. I brought in a credit card statement showing both his and my names with the same address to verify that both of us were legit. I mentioned that I have 2 checking accounts and 6 junior savings accounts at Village Bank. (At lease $60,000.00 in funds) She finally agreed to deposit the check if my husband would write "payable to" me, AND refused to allow me to write these 2 words... I understand policies etc., but not once did she mention any policies regarding my request, or ask me if I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She had no concern about losing a customer.
