Tried to cash a check from allstate insurance. Told that I had insufficient fund. They would have to put 4 day hold on check. I done business for years at the one bank in wartburg tenn. Does loyalty mean anything. Told its for mine and the banks protection. Bull
One bank does not cover your loss if someone hacks your account they give lots of excuses and don't look in to the cause. They seem to ignore the complaints and don't care.
Opening an account was very speedy and simple. Ms.Miller was kind, professional and personable.
Try this again. There another complaint I submit it erased, start over. I live in new orleans have since before bank of Putnam bought our bank, I had my first road trip home for holidays Dec 27th 2019. I had an issue in spots Mississippi using card to buy gasoline, told me the issue was had to go in and pay that way. So I carried on and was told card still active. 12 hrs I spent in my vehicle travelling. With no no eyes no way to recieve money. 1st store I had to use ATM it worked I got 60 out thinking the lady said issue only in mississippi. I became hungry and needing supplies stopped halfway through Alabama. Card dix not work again. Now the bank is closed. I have little cash amd gas steadily decreasing. Long story short I was unable to eat or drink in my 12 hour drive barely got home to family. Running on fumes in gas tank. Got home to original bank still cant use card I am broke and have to travel and be back sun Dec 29th to report for work. Yet all my money ey I cannot reach. I starved and was thirsty reason unknown, y'all said all would remain same, it has not. I want answers and I want to know what the heck changed so I dont have to go through misery yet again, or let me know and I will take my no eyes and go elsewhere, citizens was a great bank so far Putnam ive had several issues, I need info or pay me for my grievance something, not tell me everythi g should be good and it turn out to crap, highly disappointed, angry, cant even see how much in my account my card doesnt work and I have to travel all over again tomorrow same route please I need to have access to my mom ey that I worked hard for so I can see my family on occasion. If not I will happily leave
