Capital Bank

Capital Bank was established on July 30, 1956, under the name Capital City State Bank of Saint Paul. Over the following years, the institution underwent several name changes: on December 22, 1972, it became known as Capital City State Bank of Saint Paul, followed by a renaming to Capital City Bank of St. Paul on July 26, 1982. The bank adopted the name Capital Bank on December 30, 1983. After several decades of operation, Capital Bank voluntarily closed and liquidated its assets on August 26, 2016.
