I bought an item online and then was billed a great amount in addition to the order I place. This happened within 20 minutes of the transaction. I called Communit. Told them what happened and told them I was protesting the charges. I assumed that Community would stop the charges. WRONG. One charge they are investigating (isn't that big of them?) and the other they gave the money to the company despite me protesting and explaining in detail what had occurred. I am changing banks as soon as I can and I will NOT say one good word about Community Bank. What a disappointment they are! As far as I am concerned they might as well hand out customers money to any dodgy thief that catches their fancy.
I have never seen soooo much crap you have to go thru to open a h yield savings. Photo copy of your signature, mothers maiden name, street you were born on etc etc. 3/4 thru the process do not know if to contine...
Worse bank I ever tried to open an account. Tried online to open with $50,000. After 2 hrs. I told them on the 5th phone call to forget it and do not open the account. The guy said "ok not opened". Next day they took $50,000 from my checking. Over the next 2 weeks I talked to 5-6 people. One said they can send me a check but will charge me $13.00. Another said they would put money back in my home checking but next day got email stating "cannot be approved". Finally got my money back but no interest which should be about $14,00. I called and talked to a gentleman who put me on hold to look into it. After 30 minutes on hold I just hung up. I then went online to Quontic Bank and opened the account and in 7 minutes the entire transaction was complete.
