History Of Wisconsin Bank & Trust

Wisconsin Bank & Trust, originally established as Cottage Grove State Bank on November 1, 1911, underwent several name changes and operational shifts throughout its history. In 1973, the main office moved to Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, and four years later, in 1978, the bank changed its trust powers to full status. After several transitions, the institution changed its name to Wisconsin Community Bank on November 1, 1997, and subsequently returned to full trust powers in June 1999. The bank relocated its main office to Madison, Wisconsin, in September 2007. It officially adopted the name Wisconsin Bank & Trust on July 13, 2012, following the acquisition of The First National Bank of Platteville in November of the same year. Another significant acquisition occurred on January 17, 2015, when it acquired Community Bank & Trust in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The main office was once again moved, this time to Junction Road in Madison, Wisconsin, on July 9, 2021. Ultimately, on February 10, 2023, Wisconsin Bank & Trust merged with Htlf Bank, based in Denver, Colorado.

Wisconsin Bank and Trust lacks the technical expertise to solve online banking problems. I keep getting the runaround and have been told my issue is escalated and someone will get back to me but no one ever has. Even trying to call a local branch you just get sent to their customer service line which gets you no answers.
