I was recently at this branch with my son who was performing a transaction. I decided to speak to a female representative who was sitting at the desk about two ATM cards never received. She literally told us we were not eligible for the cards because both accounts had a Payee Representative (me) and they have never given out ATM cards to such accounts. My son and I told her not true, and we had cards, but it was misplaced. Needless to say we got no where. I went to the Hartsdale branch and Ms. Ally Flores helped us and within a week we had the cards. This young woman helped us tremendously. This is the branch to go to. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and go an extra mile to assist you and the Branch Manager Ms. Bello is great as well. The Thornwood branch receives 10 thumbs down for incompetent and uninformed staff.
Wonderful branch with a fantastic long time staff. A real part of the neighborhood. They are extremely patient with their client; many of which have been banking there for 30 to 40 years.
