BANK OF HAWAII RATINGS

My wife and I went into bank of hawaii to open a new account at 215pm and were refused as we did not have an appointment. We left and went to a different bank that wanted new customers. I guess bank of Hawaii has enough. Karl Kriegermeier

I've been a customer for over 23 years and it's been very good only a few glitches. Last few days I've tried using your BANKOH by phone and the recorded message repeats without letting me input my information. This is on both phones. So it has to be your end. I've talked to several customer service people, some get it and most have no idea and some are just plain snotty & interrupt. I used to work in a bank in the Controllers Office & it can be very demanding so I understand. In general BOH is very good. I also banked in Guam with your organization.

My debit card is not working always decline

I am a new customer and visited the Pahala Branch today and left items on a ledge by the teller's window, I had just purchased from the Long's store next door. A few minutes later I received a call from Sara concerning the items. I returned and Sara brought the items to my car. I was impressed with the customer service provided by Sara.

If they were a way to give this less than one store I would because I have tried over the years to contact them and it's off in a half an hour to an hour wait on the phone and sometimes you just give up. It's not always possible to use mobile banking sometimes you want to talk to a real person at the bank! Horrible customer service

I am frustrated making my church deposit on sundays in laie. Went to Kaneohe and could not open the drop box to deliver my donations for the church account. What can i do on sunday to deposit church tithes appropriately?

My son's debit card found it's way to the Kailau branch. He got a voicemail from them saying so. When I called to confirm it was there I was waiting for 25 minutes until someone answered the call. When they answered they said they couldn't get a hold of the Kailua branch on a Wednesday at 14:00. Seriously?

Customer service by phone is very thorough and supportive. We have been clients since 2004. When in-person support is easier (we have to make appointments for different needs) and when the mobile app works with more android platforms and browsers, we will gladly up the stars to 5. Thank you Bank of Hawai'i -- we really enjoy having you as our bank.

So my husband had a bank of hawaii check to cash in, and when he went in there the teller had told him no they can't cash it in, he had a document that proved of his business and they didn't give him a reason for them to cash it in. I am very disappointed at this bank. I have been in customer service for over 10 years so I know that there are regulation that need to be followed but they should at least try and explain to the customer on why they can't cash it. Very rude and selfish of these workers to turn away a customer! Also, this was the second branch that did the very same thing, if you run a business you should know that this island is very small and so if there is one even one bad review, it will spread like a wild fire just so you folks know. Be careful on your actions toward your customers!
