★ Branch review: Chesterton South Branch

I received a POD form from Centier Bank in October concerning the passing of my sister-in-law. I filed a copy, as requested, on November1, 2023. I called on November 22 at which time I had a conversation with Rebecca and asked her the status. She stated she had received my letter back and would be processing it on November 24th. Since then I have received nothing and have been unable to talk to her even though I have tried to reach her at the number she gave me which was 219-926-1161. I have been given reasons she cannot answer my call as she's not in the office, she's not at this office etc. I had left requests for a call back but no response there either. This is unacceptable as a business and such an important matter. Hopefully I will get this resolved before I have to go through the legal process which would be my next step.

Now retired from my small computer business. The staff at all branches has been knowledgeable, courteous and helpful! I like that Centier Bank is very community oriented, privately and locally owned! This BANK is sensitive to local small business needs! I have savings, checking and previously small business loans up to $50,000! The only bank I use! O
