Branch Reviews & Complaints
I'm beyond frustrated with Citibank's handling of my situation. I opened an account last week, and after my payroll deposit, I tried to withdraw cash for rent, only to be told to contact the bank. When I called, they informed me I'd need to wait for a reference number in the mail - a ridiculous timeline given my rent is due tomorrow. Despite explaining my urgency, they refused to assist, locked me out of online banking for 'security,' and left me without access to my funds. My card's being declined, and I'm at a loss. This is unacceptable, and the stress it's causing is overwhelming. I need a resolution, not empty promises of a mailed letter.
