BRANCH REVIEWS
I spent hours on the phone and was unable to get any assistance or information about a check I had from Citibank that may have been a fake check. More protection to the writer of the check than to the receiver who may have been scammed. I still have a check that they advised me not to cash without knowiing for sure if it was legitimate or not, claiming they could not give me any information about this check.
Recently asked for $160 in bills of various denominations including 20 $1 bills. The teller entered some data on his keyboard and picked up a bunch of bills from an area behind the counter and presented them to me as a stack. What has happened to the good old fashion of counting bills out? I had to do this myself while he watched. I don't trust automation 100% and neither should the bank.
