FARMERS AND MERCHANTS BANK OF SOUTH CAROLINA RATINGS

I went into this bank today with my farther and I just want to say we are African American. He has Epilepsy and a mild case of dementia due to his Grand Mal seizures he has been having since I was born and I'm 41 years old today. I just wanted to get him some help and clarity on why he has been having other family member's that has access to his bank card. They we're taking his money and accessing his funds through the cash app and I wanted to help him stop this from happening since this was has been going on for years and he change his card up to 3 times because he didn't understand how the system works anymore and he wanted to add me to his accounts for security purposes. But they would not acknowledge me or listen to why I was there with him. The Manager and a young white lady was very rude to me and disrespectful. I've done business with other financial institutions all my life and never was treated so terrible. I am a very caring and understanding person and all I wanted to know is how I could help my Dad but they just ignored me. I would never ever do business with them and wouldn't suggest anyone else as well. All I wanted was common courtesy if there was none. BTW that town still has the confederate flag flying proudly as well. So it's to be expected even though the manager is black. I'm so disappointed in the town I grew up in and loved. It was not easy to say this. I still love Holly Hill SC that will never change.
