The customer service for fifth third is horrible and requires major changes. I have worked in the customer services industry for many many years and I can't believe the responses and bad non helpful attitudes they have. I called because I deposited a check issued to my husband and I was sure that he was part of my checking and saving account. I have in the past deposited checks made out to him and never had a problem. So I deposits a check via mobile on Sunday was to clear by Tuesday. It showed that it cleared and then it debited from my account again. I called to ask and of course all you can communicate with is people from a third world country reading a script and cant barely be understood or they do not understand you. They informed me that my husband was not on the account. News to me. Then I visited the branch the teller referred me to the customer services Rep DOROTA I explained I had a check that was made out to my husband from a fund raiser account for me because I was having surgery. I needed the funds in y account asap. I also explained what my diagnosis was and she suddenly became a doctor and told me I wasn't going to lose my eyesight with that diagnosis because she worked with an ophthalmologist and she knew about this. I was first shocked and then insulted that she was having this conversation with me. I asked her if she could prepare the signature card so I can take it to my husband and add him to my account and correct the current issue and she again said no she couldn't do that. Then she told me she had an appt waiting for her and asked me to leave. Obviously I am going to look into closing my account asap after my surgery that apparently I don't need per Dorota at Fifth Third Airport Pulling Rd and Vanderbilt Naples FL.
