History Of First State Bank
First State Bank was established on November 1, 1962, initially operating under the name Mesquite State Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes: it became First State Bank on January 22, 1974, subsequently changed its name to First State and Savings Bank on July 28, 1983, and finally reverted to First State Bank on March 20, 1989.
