Do not use them if you can. I got a loan with them through a dealership that had set everything up. 3 years later I go to refinance the vehicle with my bank and called HTB asking for the 14 day payoff amount and to Turn Off my auto payments as I don't have a login for HTB. They never turned off the auto pay and took the extra $650 that was already planned for another bill and grocery shopping. They told me if I emailed them at loanservicing@htb and send s screen shot of the statement showing that they Took my money, they would electronically send it back. For some reason, they "couldn't" find Both of my emails that I sent, even with me giving them the date and time it was sent. Because of their laziness, lying and thievery, they decided to slow mail a check back to me with no tracking or anything. No food for me or my baby until that check comes in, then I have to drive across state lines to get it deposited into my real bank. Still waiting on that check! They don't care as long as they get the interest for the money they stole.

I went in to the Weaverville branch of Home Trust bank to open a checking account. Upon entering I was greeted by the teller even though I was entering to go to an office. The gentleman that handled my business was kind, patience and knowledgeable for a smooth process of opening my checking account. There was no pressure to do anything else, like opening a savings account or any other banking with them. I would recommend anyone to bank with Home Trust in the Weaverville branch location. It is the only location I have used but I would hope any location of this bank would be the same.
