MID PENN BANK RATINGS

Worst bank I've dealt with won't even exchange change unless ya have an account with them!

I have never left a review before, let alone a bad one, but the Huntingdon Mid Penn Bank branch has the most unprofessional employees/manager and is quite frankly the worst overall bank I have experienced thus far. I have been banking with them for about a year or so now and will be switching banks after my most recent interactions. The staff is rude and unprofessional and inconsistent with their policies. My paycheck, which I mobile deposited, has been held for a week now without any justified reason and left me in the negative unable to pay my bills for my family or put food on the table. My HR department from my work has had to get involved to provide additional proof of sufficient funds from THEIR account, which is a multi-billion dollar company. I have been told several different times now my funds will be released and they still have not. When I politely expressed my frustration with this entire process I was scoffed/laughed at by the teller and then after our phone call was called by the manager with an unprofessional message. If I could rate this branch a 0 I would. They seriously need to get their policies straightened out. I do not recommend this bank to anyone.

My sister and I opened up a savings account prior to it becoming Mid Penn in Huntingdon along William Penn Highway. My sister lives with me and is on social security disability and I am her rep payee.. All was going good till Sunday when my sister tried to pull money out and couldn't. Called Monday and was informed the account was closed and sent to Penn Crest in Williamsburg. The lady at Mid Penn who has worked through different banks knew me and knew my sister tried to lie and said the account was opened in Williamsburg.. Total lie and on top of that they never sent any notification in the mail asking her or they never sent a atm card... I am sick of the game that Mid Penn cliams.. I have the paper work given to me that account was opened up on Mid Penn in Huntingdon PA.. Thats Mid Penn.. She will be going to kish bank where she won't have to deal with your dishonesty and slimy ways.

Customer service at Mid Penn 'Cressona Pennsylvania' branch bank is horrible. On June 25,2022 I called the branch for 1/2 and hour. The web site says they are open until 12pm on Saturdays. The phone just kept ringing & ringing. Then it would connect to a main Mid Penn call center and NOTHING. I was holding for 15 minutes and just gave up. I did leave a voice message, but I am pretty sure I will receive NO response. This also happened to me several months ago, on a weekday. No one would answer the phone at the Cressona branch. "THEN" after about an hour of calling every 5 minutes someone answered. SO, I was calling the correct phone number. GOOD HELP 'is' very hard to find these days. ALL of this is 100% TRUE!

I tried to contact Mid Penn Bank Saturday to report my wallet lost with the number given in my paper work for about 1 hour. A voice mail asked me whaty I was calling about and I told them. I was puit on hold 3 different times that I called andno one ever answered. What is a person supposed to do if the card is being used until I can have it removed or cancele from my account? Obviously let them draw all my money until I can reach the bank on Monday
