Great customer service. Their employees in our branch are well trained and helpful. We have been doing our banking with them for over 40 years.

I'm very grateful for the teller Christina, she help me resolve a scam on the internet not only did she get me my money back she stop the scam on the internet, so others won't get hacked. We need more conscientious people like her.

I was a customer with NBT bank for 15 years...was nothing but a hassle with every single transaction. Everything from randomly getting overdraft fees EVEN well before the fee was supposed to take effect. They were called out on it by me with timestamp proof everytime, they then reversed the overdraft fees, although not without extreme arrogance, and being rude about it. Also the way they put crazy holds on money that shouldn't take 3-7 days to become available. After 15 years of my business as a banking customer they closed my account over a negative balance of eleven dollars. I was hospitalized with cancer and couldn't use a phone. They then proceeded to charge my account up to something crazy like 800$ negative ALL in the recurring late fees..then sent my "800$" negative account to collections..this bank is the biggest scam bank in the new England area..DO NOT do business with this bank.

I have never had a bank as messed up as these folks. Received an insurance check in our name and NBTs name that was deposited in an account. The bank then withdrew $10,000,000 from the account. We had to call to find out why the account was overdrawn by more than $9 million, they said that is how they put a hold on an account. ???? Now that car is repaired they can't figure out how to get it released, its been five days so far. Is this what happens when you allow incompetent people to work remotely?

Give me all my money and close my ___ Account, stop taking my money for some overdraft that i no nothing about please or I will cause the biggest stink you can possibly think of.... Please before I call black lives matter, tha NCAACP, and everyone else I can think of. I'm 68 on social security and you want to steal my money. (only get enough to pay my bills and get my meds...

I went in to NBT Vails Mills to have a property transfer notarized after being referred by the Broadalbin Town clerk who refused to notarize a property transfer. After the notary at NBT read through the entire packet she told me she couldn't notarize it because I wasn't a customer, which she knew from the beginning. I traveled 45 minutes to get to my home bank. I was never asked if I was a customer at First NY FCU, I was simply assisted with my paperwork.

The worst on line system in the world. Every month sign in will not let me sign to my account. Can't get to the sing in page. Gives me grief everytime with my password.

Worst bank always a struggle to get anything done online linking accounts. At point of closing accounts and go with a modern bank.

Having been a customer of NBT, Central National Bank before then, I have always had a good relationship with the many branches I have used. That is until today. I needed a letter notorized and I walked into the Vail Mills branch. (There were no other customers in the branch office at this time.) I asked if a notary was available today and the teller said yes and that I would need to wait a few minutes. I appreciate the fact that many of the NBT braches have notaries available for their customers and I went to sit down to wait until the manager/notary was available. I did not make it to my chair and was invited into her office. I was very happy that she called me in so quickly and I handed her the document to be notartized. She then started to read the document and ask me what it was for and why I needed it notarized. She then refused to notarize the letter and with a very curt voice and attitude told me to go next door to the insurance agency, (which I have no business dealings with), that they would have to notarize it for me. She was very rude and offputting. If she was busy she should not have invited me into her office. I have alway been understanding but found this hard to understand.
Thank you to the wonderful people at the Jenny Rulison-Fisch State Farm Insurance Agency for their friendly and professional attitude. They made a bad situation into a great one with their friendly conversations and smiles as I walked out their door with my letter notarized.

The most un professional group of women I've ever encountered Would much rather go out of my to the branch in St. Johnsville then ever deal with them.
