Absolutely horrible banking experience!!!
1. Two different portals for debit and credit cards.
2. No clear information on making payments. Can't do it on the portal.
3. Customer Service is terrible, with several different numbers to access different aspects of my accounts.
4. I closed both accounts that I put money into (Prepaid Credit and debit card) over 4 months ago, and there has been no refund to date. However, I still get notices about past due payments and negative hits on my credit, which defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place!
5. When I called, they told me the account was closed and couldn't tell me my balance, but said I had to call another number. When I did, they told me to call the original number I called...
6. I did all this to support a cause. To elevate people of color and a business that claimed to do the same. But I am terribly disappointed in my service and expectations.
7. I could not in good conscience tell anyone to support this bank. I hate to say it, but I need service, access to finance info, and customer care. JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, and Wells Fargo couldn't care less about people of color, but they handle your business professionally. One United does not!!!
Please stay away. And this is from a progressive-minded man of color. Don't trust them.
Ps, I'll let you know when i get the refund of my money!!! And when my credit report gets corrected.

I have for several years a business account with this bank, and I do a lot of deposits with this bank I thought dealing with a black bank being black, but I have found that your black employees are as rude, condescending and uncaring as white people. You have corporate officers whoever is in charge of all these banks, CEOCOO you guys hide behind phone numbers so it's impossible to reach you and if somebody can't figure out how to send you an email you're not going to respond back to your depositors, that's white man stuff. You have untrained employees working at your banks I keep having an issue with the service you provide on online bill pay sometimes my merchants get the check and sometimes they do not and then I have to call. Stop payment on the check, the online bill pay issued and you charge me money for stopping payment and then I have to re-issue. Something that you claimed you issued. You guys even provide a confirmation number and a date that you sent it out . The problem is not on my end. I am not giving incorrect names or addresses because of the fact sometimes the merchant gets it sometimes they don't it is inconsistent, so it is not on my end. When you call and try to talk to tellers and supervisors that you put in place they are smart Alec condescending and just don't seem to know their job , it is unfair that you charge me a stop payment fee for something you are sending out and again, and I am sure it is not the mailman's fault. It is not wrong information. It is on the bank service you offer online bill pay that is inconsistent. Another issue with your bank is that if you have a dollar amount that you stop payment on and you provide a specific merchant to stop payment on and you provide a specific date and you provide a specific name After that, any check for the same dollar denomination even though all the other information is different you will stop payment on every time it comes through your bank. I don't expect a call back because this bank does not do that but my name is wendell james my company is adult educational technologies. I have a business account with your bank as well as a personal account but it is my business account where you guys keep making these erroneous mistakes and then everybody hides behind them and try to convince the customer they're wrong and then you don't return phone calls .
