★ Branch review: Iselin Branch

The provident is the most incompetent bank... I have experience with them since 2011... Absolutely horrible. Ruthless crooks. They purchased a good bank (Lakeland) The worthless conversion team all should be FIRED!!! they all suck. EPIC FAILURE. I have spent over 7 hours over three days on the phone trying to get access to MY MONEY!!! No luck. this worthless bank can't figure it out. I will be filing a complaint with the banking and insurance commission... FUCK YOU PROVIDENT. I will be closing ALL my accounts, as I opened new accounts with a real bank... you people all SUCK ASS!!!!!

★ Branch review: Old Bridge Branch

DO NOT USE THEM! The staff is rude. Especially Aileen G. Boyle. I was asking to speak with her market manager about my account and she hung up on me. Horrible customer service!

★ Branch review: Newtown Branch

I tried to cash a Provident Bank check at this bank and a robot manager was called over to tell me in a rehearsed voice over and over "Our policy is if you don't have an account at our bank you can only get $1,000 back."... when I said why can't you honor your own banks check once again louder "OUR POLICY IS IF YOU DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK YOU CAN ONLY GET $1000 BACK!No personality... absolutely no customer service... he was actually spitting on me while reciting.... worst experience ive ever had at any bank....shame on you gentlemen... corporate should know how poorly you run your branch.
