My adult daughter is disabled and has very high anxiety. She needs someone with her to help navigate her deposits, questions, etc. Her bank card, Mass I.D. while in a therapeutic hospitalization. Today I spoke with Samantha trying desperately to advocate for Mia, my girl, and help "unfreeze her account for Christmas as she's been with no access to even a dollar and the wait for a new I.D. appt. is INSANE at the DMV and after they email your appt time if you don't like it, it's another 2 or 3 days for a reply back with a new appt and then a 7 to 10 business day wait for the card to be mailed! Outrageous! That's possibly 30+ days for a Mass I.D.! Samantha listened intently to me and told us how to help Mia get through this with the I.D., statements, and info we had and did so VERY kindly. I often feel today everyone is in a huge rush and your a burden. That was so not the case here in Halifax. We use to bank in the Kinston branch but moved in the 2000's. This bank is just a great bank all around but Halifax just seems to really have that neighbor helping neighbor feel still. Thank you Samantha for listening today. You are exactly what separates Rockland from other banks like Bank America and Santander which forgot somewhere along the way that neighborly small town feel aka "customer service". Great location, across st from post office convenient for mutiple errand trips. Plenty of off street parking, drive up ATM and, & banking. Tellers are extremely polite, and have a very streamlined process of getting transactions done, getting customers in ans out, back to their busy schedule. Total 360° from that cluster F of an operation at BOA. Always a line of 5+ minimum at ANY BRANCH, and repeatedly ask same people over and over if you are interested in opening an account ! No matter how many times you have said no, their commissioned base pay makes them ask no matter what. A terrible company policy. And by charging more and more to cash a NON- CUSTOMERS check is not going to intice someone to open the account so when they give someone a check, you can charge them for cashing it. When you mention it, they say "well all the banks are doing it" to which i repeat you are dead wrong, any of the smaller banks have no fee accounts for everything. Its the large corporate monster banks that are just greedy. Properly run the company and you dont need to charge inconvenience fee's. But BOA is to busy with their woke policies and giving credit cards to ILLEGAL NON CITIZENS who end up running large balances and then disappearing cause tates to go up for people like us who were born here.

We need to prove taxes were paid on all of our $ yet the illegals that BOA goes out of way to help, cash their checks, and take their $ to western union to send it back to the native countries to give to their families living back there still. If you cant produce a tax id or s.s. # they should be taxed on the spot on any money shipped out of the country. They are just bleeding the system, running costs for everyone else up, and places like BOA are making it much easier on them. Should be Bank Of Everywhere But America. Stick with Rockland Trust, and give the East Milton branch a try, great service, always with a smile...

Seriously? Tried to phone them for 40 minutes straight today, maybe 30 calls. They must have one line apparently, got a busy signal every time... Not very professional or welcoming.

Awful customer service. After waiting on hold for over half an hour, the customer service representative kept giving me different directions and suggestions regarding checking accounts. None of it was helpful and she didn't have any understanding of how to actually get the problem fixed. Rather than helping with the problem, she told me other banks may be able to verify the information and set up the account but that she didn't know how the verification system worked at Rockland and there was no way for her to fix the problem generated by the system. She was right: I was able to open an account at a different bank in minutes without being on hold and without an irreconcilable, system generated error.

Make a complaint on Google and they call the police on you... Thanks Deborah your are a spiteful individual. Good luck to you try to be a little more greatful your healthy and have a job not everyone is doing so well.

Went to Norwood branch to cash a payroll check (this was a Rockland Trust check) After a long wait I was asked to write my ss# and occupation, which I've never been asked. After she read that I was a police officer I was told to drive around and get back in line. I requested my check back and left.

I love this little branch and use it all the time. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful!

Always friendly, always helpful. not a grumpy person there.
