Sandy Spring Bank location in Springfield Va 22151 has a terrible service. Each transaction takes 30-40 minutes. The manager is sitting and drinking her coffee and talking on the phone, refusing to help customers, when room is full of people waiting to do their deposits. Her only excuse is that everyone is sick and she can not do anything about it. There is only one gentlemen who cam barely do deposits. It took him 30 minutes today and he asked me to come back because he cant finish even one deposit. The manager is rude even more ruth since I complained last week about being understaffed. People who are sick might be sick even longer, which doesn't give an excuse to do such a terrible service. As a manager she should be able to sort this and if she can not, someone else has to do her job, who can!! Now branch manager does not say hello to me and bluntly ignores me. Every day I do my businesses deposit and I am seriously thinking to switch the bank. Bank of America is not far and they do have people that work there. This is just an info how badly is service at the Sandy Spring Bank at 5250 Port Royal Rd., North Springfield, VA 22151.
