History Of South Central Bank
South Central Bank, Inc. is a financial institution that was established in 1908 under the name Park City State Bank. The bank underwent its first name change in 1989 to South Central Bank of Barren County, Inc., and subsequently moved its main office to 208 South Broadway in Glasgow, Kentucky. In 2009, the institution adopted the name South Central Bank, Inc. In January 2015, the bank expanded significantly through acquisitions, incorporating South Central Bank of Hardin County, South Central Bank of Monroe County, South Central Bank of Daviess County, and South Central Bank of Bowling Green. On November 17, 2016, the institution again changed its name to South Central Bank, Inc. More recently, on February 10, 2017, South Central Bank acquired Kentucky Neighborhood Bank located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
