I received my 1099 int from you recently and no taxes are taken out? Can I get a revised 1099 with taxes taken out ?
On 12/29/2025, I visited the Bayou Blvd branch in Pensacola, Florida. When I arrived, I asked where the restroom was located and was told that there was no public restroom available, only one for staff. About 45 minutes later, a white male came in and approached the counter with the same request to access the bathroom. Shortly after, I saw an employee unlock the restroom for the man to use.
As people of color, my family and I felt overlooked and discriminated against. The information given to us was not the same as what was given to him. After he returned from the restroom, I asked the employee assisting us if she was sure there was no restroom my mother could use, since the man had just come out of it. It was clear that he had not been told it was "staff only." Only then when the staff noticed we saw what happened they offered my elderly mother access to the restroom.
I was extremely upset that we were denied access while someone else was allowed to use the same facility. It was evident that we were not treated with the same respect or consideration, and that should never had happened.
Tried to add another individual to the checking account and was told all other on the account would need to be present to add another individual. One of the names on the account is currently living out of state and the Branch told me there is no other option. We do banking with other countries and do out of state mortgage closings with Doc U Sign and we can't make this work? Thats just plain crazy in this day and time that we cannot get a Doc U Sign document to handle this simple task.
This branch hires and employs racist white employees, who engages in discrimination against black account holders. I do not recommend dealing financial business with this branch unless, you want to de denied services or delayed services, humiliated and embarrassed because of your skin color.
HELP !! I have a loan with SouthState Bank. I accidentally 9after an accident that caused me my eyesight in my left eye) while on pain meds i sent 2 pymts for a loan from my checking to South State. This made 2nd check bounce. Other bills are going unpaid and they wont refund my $$ yet cashed 2nd check on 14th and it is now the 20th of march 2024. I NEED MY $$ REFUNDED !!! I keep sending copies of my bank statement. They cant understand that when you are overdrawn almost 500$ that there wont be anymore activity on that account until money is deposited in it.
Best bank in Gastonia, NC. I've been with this bank since it was called Gaston Federal Bank; the best employees, the best service, and I wouldn't go to another bank.
I was a customer with Center State Bank and now with South State Bank. They have in terms of customer service gone from good to bad. Some of my deposits were not shown on their website as deposits, despite the fact that South State Bank issued a receipt for payment made. They make promises in writing that they do not keep. A glaring example is a commitment made in writing by the branch manager in Pompano, FL where we bank to pay interest on my Money Market account of 3 %, The branch manager committed the bank to pay this amount retroactively to the date of receipt of the money. This is regardless whether the money market account was opened. or not. Upon opening the money market account, they did not honor their promise in writing which confirms their liability as a bank and as a manager. They have failed to confirm to me to date that the interest in the amount of 287.07 will be credited to our account with them. In addition in the past 2 days, no one, at any level is answering the phone. Online access to our account cannot be made as they don't send the access code by e-mail or phone. Is the bank still open and active and are our deposits safe? Does anyone know? please respond.
When you visit the bank they are excellent. Try calling on the phone, or mailing your statements to your home. That becomes near impossible.
Hi my name is Nicholas Greiner. I just opened an account the 15th of December online. I eventually got in there just 3 days ago (01/13/23) and deposited money 25$.00 in my checking. I have since been trying to log on to my app; my bank app with South State Mobile, And I am continuously having problems. I am putting in the correct codes, it's telling me I'm locked out and Had A bank member fix, which now that it's been doing this over and over and over again I just tried to get a loan, I was unable to process my loan because the card that I have it said that it wasn't a valid card so there's two or three things that can happen one you fix it and you redeem what's redeemable because I am putting my care and trust into your bank for absolute son I am being shunned by information that I should be aware of paperwork what my bank account is why my app isn't allowing me my passcode isn't working my my everything about this bank has been a disaster I would love to stay with you if this could be fixed you have computers that you can look in and you can tell what I've been doing and what is what p

Fix your ATM!!! For weeks it has made you tap a zillion times to select what you want. However today, after a zillion taps to enter my pin (which it accepted) it refused any other tapping selected and kept my damn card!!! I am furious!!!
Please have a vice president call me at 561-252-9583, George Sullivan. I have an issue that has not been resolved since March 2022, Seemingly, no one is capable of handling the issue. I'm hoping someone at the VP level will have the ability to address it,

Yes I was given a check from my lawyer coming from this bank, I deposited it in my account, it cleared the next day which was Saturday morning, I used some of the money over the weekend and then I woke up this morning and the funds were snatched from my account?? I will be calling as soon as they open this morning. Hopefully I can get some answers.
My VISA debit card is not working. Why? okay yesterday. Today is Sat. 25, Oct., 2021. Today being Sat. bank is closed. Now what? HELP!
