Incompetent bunch! They only have one investor, their underwriter causes extreme delays in closing jeopardizing real estate deals. I refinanced one property with them that took over 2 months. I was going to use them for buying 3 properties in the same time. They filled out the request for my tax return incorrectly so we did not meet the closing date. The IRS transcript needs to be identical to the tax return address. They had a copy of my tax return with the address yet they were not able to copy the address. Even though we were waiting for the transcripts for a long time they did not check on it. I received a letter from the IRS and that is how I knew they messed up. They refused to close without the transcript even though I provided a copy of my return to them. As a result, the sellers wanted to walk away. Since these were 1031 exchanges and I had to close on the properties, I had to meet the sellers' demand for more money to give us an extension. I contacted Tradition Capital Bank asking them to take responsibility for the additional cost since we did not meet the deadline due to their mistake. They refused. Ultimately I went with another lender who was able to fill out the tax return request correctly and we closed in 3 weeks. I would not recommend Tradition Capital bank for mortgages.
