This by far, has the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. I went in to cash a loan check written on a Truist bank account out of Boca Raton. The minute I let them know I wanted to cash a $5000 dollar check written on a Truist bank, their whole atitude turned cold and ugly. They kept me waiting for 45 minutes saying they were "trying" to verify my check. After waiting 45 minutes, the bank manager informed me that they could not verify the check and that they never dealt with the Boca Raton branch and there for they would not cash the check. When I left and got back to my car. I called the loan company and told them that the Auburndale branch would not honor their check. The manager there said that they had just verified the check.
I wasn't about to go back into that bank for any reason. So I drove 5 miles to the Truist bank on Cypress Gardens Blvd. The difference between banks were night and day. It took 45 minutes for the Auburndale branch to humiliate me. It took 5 minutes for the Cypress Gardens branch to cash my check and restore my faith in the human race.
And if the Auburndale branch had just treated me with a little respect, then I would have told the manager that the check I had just received was just a small loan on my lawsuit settlement of 1.7 million, that I will be recieving in the next 10 days. I was going to open a new account with half of my loan and have my lawsuit money wired directly to that account. And although I did received the respect any customer deserves to get at the Cypress Gardens branch, the thought of dealing with the Auburndale branch in my town made me change my mind completely. Wells Fargo got my new account.
Hey Truist in Auburndale, don't judge a book by its color. You may just miss out...
