United Mississippi Bank, originally established as First Natchez Bank on May 14, 1973, has undergone several name changes and expansions since its inception. The institution was renamed First Natchez Bank on August 26, 1974. In 1985, the bank was rebranded as United Mississippi Bank. The main office was relocated to 203 South Commerce Street in Natchez, Mississippi, on June 14, 1975, and again moved to 75 Melrose-Montebello Parkway in Natchez on November 3, 1993. Over the years, United Mississippi Bank expanded its operations through various acquisitions, including The Commercial Bank in Woodville, Mississippi, on October 31, 2003; The Merchants & Farmers Bank in Melville, Louisiana, on August 29, 2011; and Peoples Bank of the South in Bude, Mississippi, on November 1, 2013.
