U.S. Bank, originally established as The First National Bank of Cincinnati on July 13, 1863, has undergone significant transformations and expansions throughout its history. In 1991, the institution rebranded as Star Bank, National Association, with its main office relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. The bank proceeded to acquire numerous other institutions, most notably transitioning to Firstar Bank in 1999. I'm very disappointed to have my branch in Potosi, Missouri close. Their was so much internal chaos that was never solved from poor district management that should've at least tried to fix it. From what I understand the employees had no idea it was coming. When they tried to contact the district manager she wouldn't return their calls.
