History Of U.S. Bank

U.S. Bank, originally established as The First National Bank of Cincinnati on July 13, 1863, has undergone significant transformations and expansions throughout its history. In 1991, the institution rebranded as Star Bank, National Association, with its main office relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. The bank proceeded to acquire numerous other institutions, most notably transitioning to Firstar Bank in 1999. The acquisition spree continued under its new identity, culminating in its rebranding to U.S. Bank National Association in August 2001. The bank closed my account without giving me any warning. They will not give me my money and are accusing me of claiming there were fraudulent charges on my account, I never made these claims, and they were charges that frequently appear on my account. I was at the drive-thru on 9/24/2025 at 9:21 AM to make a withdrawal. The lady assisting me sent out a withdrawal slip for me to sign.
