I can't wait to get away from this bank. They have been hard to deal with. Making mistakes that should of been simple basic knowledge for any banker that cost me time and money in my persute of a equity loan to pay off any loans and credit cards I had through us bank, from another bank.
The interest rates at this bank on loans are very high and because of medical bills I had a lot of debt with Very high interest. Eventhough I paid my bills on time somehow, I could only pay the min. payment and have spent two years just trying to stay above drowning. I have over $600,000 pure equity in my home but us bank would not increase that $100,000 loan another $30,000 to consolidate my cards. Cards within their bank....wonder why?
So I went somewhere else and qualified for a equity loan within days because I have a good credit rating and payment history. BUT US bank made mistake after mistake on the deed I needed to sign and have notarized and filed as part of the new loan. A notary that doesn't have a clue about signatures!!! That's a comfort!
Long story short... after a delay of a couple more weeks the loan funds. I take the certified check from the issuing bank to us bank to deposit and pay my high interest cards and loans off only to find out that now the us bank will hold my loan funds for another 10 days because of the pandemic. That puts me into another month of high intrest on my cards and late charges because I couldn't pay two payments amount because they are holding onto my money because of the pandemic.
I tried to get this all done so I didn't have to deal in this pandemic yet because of the delays and holds the bank has put me right in the middle of the mess.
This bank has been very unfair and I believe deceitful with their loan products. I believe I have been discriminated against being a widowed senior on social security.
It's been ten days yet the bank will not answer the phone # I was given to check the status of my HELOC loan I deposited to try and pay my bills. This has been a very bad experience for the last couple years. Really bad !
