I just moved to town, and went in today to get some change. The teller asked if I had an account there and I said no. She refused to make change for me simply because I had no account there. So what the heck?? I told her that I would take all my business elsewhere, and walked out of the store. Leaving, I realized that the US in US Bank stands for US, not ME. It is the US Bank - of course! People are your product, and the bank is there to make money off of me. Why would I ever consider opening an account there? The US bank is now the THEM Bank - I crossed the street and The State Bank quickly provided me change.
