I can't say enough good things about the Donelson Pike location of Wilson Bank & Trust especially Kerri and Michael. They both went above and beyond for me this week, and I'm incredibly grateful.
A couple of days ago, I called to request a new debit card after dealing with fraud on my account. Emily quickly had one made for me, but due to my work schedule and the fact that I recently started working in downtown Nashville (hello, traffic!), I wasn't able to pick it up that day.
Yesterday, I left work at 4 PM with hopes of making it before they closed at 5 PM. Unfortunately, traffic, red lights, and rain had other plans. My GPS arrival time kept getting later — first 5:02, then 5:08, and finally 5:15 PM. Feeling completely defeated, I called the branch to ask if there was any chance, they'd wait just a few minutes for me to swing by. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it again for at least another week, and I really needed that card.
To my surprise (and relief!), both Kerri and Michael stayed. I didn't walk through the door until exactly 5:15, but they greeted me without a hint of frustration or attitude. Kerri still had a smile on her face, and Michael had clearly waited even though he'd mentioned they could only stay a few minutes past closing.
The truth is that most banks and most branches wouldn't have done that. But they did and it meant the world to me. This is exactly why I choose to bank locally. Wilson Bank & Trust continues to show they care about their customers in a way that's rare these days.
Thank you again, Kerri and Michael. You made a tough, stressful situation so much better with your patience and kindness.
Horrible experience with Daniel Gregory (Branch Manager) and Kelly Mccaleb (Newbie in customer service?).
I paid a stop pay fee of $38 but the charge was never stopped. Kelly in customer service failed to give me the choice of a one time stop or indefinite stop, with it not being my field of expertise I didn't think to ask, I should have been given the option.
She also mentioned that if the charge was pulled from account it would be refunded, It wasn't due to the fact it was as few dollars off. Pretty ironic they put you on hold to hear the operator talk about first class customer service.
Your mailbox is full. No messages accepted. Extremely poor service when your employees are sitting around looking off into outer space!!!! Come on people. I know your branch manager expects more than that, right??
Excellent People to do business with! The Tellers are a Friendly, Kind and Caring Crew with ample experience and knowledge to handle all your banking needs! I appreciate the efficiency at which my transactions are handled- no long wait in line... others always step in to clear a bottle-neck in rush hour lines! Love Love to be in Laura's line and receive her warm country greeting that makes me glad to be a part of the Smithville branch!
