Bank OZK Ratings

These people/bank are so fuc*k**g bad - unbelievable. It astounds me that they are still in business and haven't been swallowed up by a bank that knows something about how to be a bank. I became worried that my information might have been hacked because of an experience on line that had nothing to do with them. I immediately put holds on my accounts with them and then the following Monday went to my branch to create new accounts. OK, so far. They refused to restore my online access until some time had passed - well OK but they weren't protecting me, they were protecting themselves. Several weeks go by and they continue to refuse to give me access on line. After a month of this bullshit, I threaten to move all of my accounts to a bank with more business acumen. They relent, but give me only limited access. Not good enough, so more threats from me. Finally get the service and access that I need.

So now they rollout a new app. I, of course, lose access to all of my accounts on line. Three days of continuous busy signals (I'm sure they had lots and lots of other customers who had lost access), I finally get through. Turns out that when I was trying to access my accounts with their shinny new app, my user name had been changed permanently. WTF. Three days wasted and a whole lot of frustration. When I finally get in, I discover that they had returned one of my monthly distributions for an IRA. No reason, just kicked it back. I got that fixed easily with my fund manager because they know what they are doing. I have to wait until tomorrow to see if Bank OZK accepts the transfer so I can buy some groceries. What incompetent assholes this bank is. I'd move my accounts (maybe I will still have to) but it is a hassle and I don't have another convenient branch of someone else.

I've warned you. If you bank with them, it is your own fault.

MOST HORRIBLE BANK EVER... If you are a customer, move your money NOW!! This bank does value their customers regardless of years of loyalty....Employees are poorly trained, lack knowledge of proper security follow up& protecting customers money. The upper management covers their tracks when a mistake has been made, rather than practice good even if the mistake causes a serious disruption to their customer's life ....I was a victim of a cybertheft. The fraudster stole my cell phone number, called Bank OZK and successfully wired $8500 from my account. In my 20 years as a customer @ Bank OZK, I had never wired money nor ever made a withdrawal over $4,000. Prior to releasing the wire, the bank attempted to make a security callback to my home number and didn't get an answer. Then they called my cell number 2 additional times & still didn't get an answer. On the 3rd attempt, the fraudster finally answered. The bank didn't determine any red flags. The bank asked person impersonating me for my SS#, sent a text code to my number for security. they approved wire and released my money ....Bank OZK has denied any wrongdoing, saying they practiced all security and have REFUSED to reimburse my money twice. I'm a single 65 yr old woman on a fixed income. I trusted this bank to protect my precious savings. Not only did they not protect me, but they have denied any mistakes and refuse to reimburse me. In addition, when Bank OZK sent the balance left in my account after I closed it, they refused to reimburse the overdraft fees they charged me after my account was hacked!!! This amount is pennies to this bank, but for me, it was significant! It totally disrupted my life, ruined my good credit, cost me hundreds in overdraft fees and many sleepless nights. SHAME ON YOU BANK OZK.

We recently opened 2 accounts at this branch. Arpita did an excellent job. She was knowledgeable and walked us through the process with a personal, hands on approach not seen as frequently in our experience with bankers in today's environment. I would recommend this bank location and her to anyone looking for a great banker.

I have banked at this branch since it was The community Bank. Both Debra and Emily make banking here such a pleasure. You can tell they both enjoy their jobs, and they both have great customer service, making it feel more like a personal experience rather than going to a bank like BOA, where it feels like you are dealing with robots. Love doing business with this bank and these 2 employees. They make the experience a pleasure!!!

Mercy De Quesada is the perfect banker. She is patient thoughtful and knowledgeable. She is my favorite banker and her branch is always helpful and competent, it is a pleasure to do business with this branch of OZK.

I have found this bank extremely difficult to deal with. I am trying to set up automatic electronic payments. The electronic payment went to the account and the bank rejected it. I filled out their Loan Payment Transfer Authorization Form, mailed it 2 weeks ago and they have not processed it. I uploaded the form directly and still they have not processed it. Who rejects an electronic direct payment? I have to wait nine months to pay off, I have a feeling this will be a long nine months till I can pay this off. I do NOT recommend this bank, use any other bank. When the account was opened, I waited and waited for the bank to send a payment booklet, something, anything, I had to contact them to get the payment and loan information. Worst bank ever. Avoid this bank.

Since we started working with Bank OZK, Kenya Cunningham has been our banking specialist who works with us on all our banking needs both personal and business. She is very knowledgeable with the bank's products and helps guide us through our banking needs. She also keeps us informed of any bank specials and updates that would benefit us relative to our accounts. I would recommend Kenya to anyone looking for a good banking relationship.

I have been a member of The Ozk Bank at Youngerman Circle for a couple of years now. The staff there are pleasant and always treat me with respect.

Tiffany is exceptional at helping me achieve my banking goals. I know that if there is any issue, Tiffany is going to work hard to correct it. It is also a very nice feeling to walk into the lobby and be greeted by cheerful people who recognise you by name.

They are all friendly, helpful and professional, especially Tiffany, she is always so helpful, we can drop by or call her anytime and she is willing to take the time to handle our financial needs. It is so great when you walk into the bank and they all say "Hi Mr. & Mrs. Davis, how can we help you today". We have recommended OZK Bank to all our friends.

Bank of OZK has been a blessing for the many years we have been there. Everyone there are friendly and helpful. Haily and Elise both gave me a card to show me how to be able to write a review, I was unable to find it so i found this place hope it gets where people can read and know how much we appreciate them all. I have banked with Bank OZK since it opened in Blue Ridge. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone at this branch. Occasionally I stop by, even if I do not have banking business, to see a smiley face and get a sincere welcome. I feel like family. Even though it was Tina who reminded me to share my feelings about the bank and the people who run it, this review and the shining five stars are for everyone who works here. Bank OZK in Grayson, GA provides a positive banking experience, highlighted by the professionalism of its staff, including Kelly, Erling, Tahisa, and last but not least Odessia. When it comes to customer service the team (Kelly, Erling, Tahisa, and Odessia) is always friendly and attentive. They also give quick response times and effective problem-solving. I highly recommend this team for their welcoming demeanor and ability to make me feel valued.

I have been a Bank OZK client for a little over a year. The positives: I've had superior service, people that seem to really care, bankers who actually know the banking - CD - loan - investing "lay of the land". Amazing [at least compared to some others in this area]. I'm always greeted upon arrival, asked how the various bankers can assist, explained procedures as the bankers are conducting business, plus treated with a smile. I feel comfortable and appreciated amongst knowledgeable staff. Here's the best part - they actually have a "go-to" employee who truly knows the Bank OZK system, is well aware of the competition, and gives great and informative answers - her name is Patty Moon. Hats off to Patty! The negatives: None that I can think of - the bank even has comfortable furniture - which was a surprise.

I am very satisfied with the branch office in Concord, NC. Friendly, helpful, I feel like family when I walk in. Their Wealth Management is wonderful. Again Friendly, caring, helpful, and willing to help with any questions you may have.

Teller's talk on the phone while a customer who comes inside the bank has to wait until the teller gets off the phone. There should always be a teller available for a customer who walks into the bank. I have not received my 1099I from them as of 2/17/2025. I shouldn't have to go to the bank to pick it up. This is to show interest I made on my savings at this bank.
