My wife and I have been involved in an ongoing dispute with Capital One Venture regarding a merchant who fraudulently charged us for a part and service not provided. As requested by Capital One Dispute Department, we have provided numerous irrefutable documents, photos, and in-depth explanations regarding the dispute and have repeatedly denied. Capital One is not your friend and will not fight for its customers even when supplied with such evidence. We will never use Capital One again! Dispute Department is a JOKE! SHAME ON YOU!
My wife's account has been frozen due to "suspected hacking". They will not tell us how to get it unfrozen. Do not do business with them.
Complaint. I had a document that I needed notarized and I called the branch to see if a notary was available. I was told there was so I went to the bank. There, the notary, after looking at my document, which related to a private trust matter, said that she could not notarize it because it was a private document not related to the bank. She did check this with a manager at a different office and was told the same thing. I have had similar types of documents notarized at this bank before. Honestly, don't say you provide notary services and then when I get there say we can't help you. Or if you only notarize bank-related documents say so. Just a big waste of my time.
Me and my son have capital one bank checking account. My son's account was hold hostage by Capital One for more than 2 months. His Dad put his disability pension to my son's account because he had an open heart operation 2 months ago. The money come in but he can't withdraw the money for 2 months when his dad badly needed money. The money is there but he can't withdraw and everyday they said it's under investigation and in 3 weeks there's a solution, 12 weeks already had passed still can't get the money. His dad is now homeless.
I recently opened a new Capital One credit card, but I'm unable to access my account online. I had a Capital One card years ago, and when I try to sign in, the system is still using my old phone number and login information. Since my phone number has changed, I can't complete the verification process. Every time I attempt to update my number, my account gets blocked.
When I called customer service, I was instructed to send a copy of my driver's license (front and back), which they said would be processed within 14 days. I have now submitted this documentation three separate times, and my account is still not accessible. I don't understand why they didn't use my current phone number which was on my application. This repeated failure to resolve the issue is completely unacceptable.
I've been trying to call them all morning and either got the wrong branch, the wrong department, or been put on hold. The person I did speak to didn't even understand English and couldn't understand the town I wanted to be transferred to. It's been one big mess.
The other day, the woman I spoke to over the phone told me to open up another bank account so I could deposit a money order I needed to deposit into my account, and that's just a bunch of stupidity. I have nothing but problems with people answering the phone and talking to me in a foreign language.
Then it even asked me to push one on the options to speak to someone in English, and it still spoke in all Spanish to me. This has been crazy, and I think I'm going to change banks because of it.
My nearest location is still 25 miles away in Beaumont, Texas, and they only have one branch. So, you have to do business with the one on Stagg Drive whether you want to or not.
I have not been receiving my Kohls bill. I tried to login to my account. I couldn't, I had to go in and start a new login. They had my old numbers. I tried to reset the numbers. I couldn't, I called and I told the person they needed to delete the old numbers and I gave them my cell number. They told me they needs a number to confirm it was me. I told them the new number was my cell number. They couldn't send me a code . They would not delete the old numbers. So I can't pay my bill and I'm being charged interest. I can't stand Capital One. Their people can not speak American English. You can't understand them.
So tired of the phone run around. I have an issue I need to speak to a representative but of course thats never an option. Then I spend 30 minutes with a representative only to be told I had to speak to someone else. I'm transferred and the new person has no information so I need to repeat everything again. All this time talking with someone who barely speaks englisch.
CFO Andrew M Young is stealing securities and is refusing to redeem investor bonds/notes. Capital One does not honor banking principal's when it comes to non-cash items/negotiable instruments/securities, especially the ones they issue themselves. Had a Quicksilver acct (3277) and when i presented the laws of the United States with American Banking Association Principals of Banking, Encyclopedia of Banking and Finance, etc., Capital One proceeded to act with dishonor and close the account stating "fraud" The only fraud here is the claim anyone owes you anything. You are not creditors, you are consistently operating under fraud. When you see a special qualified endorsement, you tucked your tails and ran off with the cheese, coward fraudsters.
Capital One is engaged in SECURITIES FRAUD
Capital One Bank froze my account with a considerable (credit) balance while I was traveling abroad and refused to tell the reason via phone. They told me that it had become mandatory that I come to one of their offices to unfreeze my account. In December, 2024, I find that many of their offices have closed, so this becomes a major aggravation and inconvenience for me to physically visit one of their brick and mortar offices.
My nurse said she was havng trouble getting my script and got a warning of credit violation when tyring to get my meds. I need to straighten this out because there seems to be come problem with my debit card. I tried to resolve this online but not successful. Need to talk to a human. Please call! 985-285-7774
Seems Capital one bank doesnt care about these complaints just as long as you get out payments. Sent 3 copies of my license because i had to put a block on my card [ scam ] They keep saying they never received any copies even though i have 3 confirmation numbers from the sender. When is CAP.ONE GONNA crack down on these CLOWNS from over seas?
How do I get through to your customer service. There seems to be some sort of glitch with customer service number. Ask for a representative no rwspinse. Very frustrating.
Can I open an account with Capital One and if I do would my disability check come early?
My card was compromised. It was shut off and a new card was sent! Took forever to get this taken care of on the phone! I sent copies of my drivers license. They said they were too blurry. Finally sent them copies from my phone! The new card I was sent was NOT ACTIVATED and when I called TO ACTIVATE THE NEW CARD I was told there was attempted charges. When I asked for an explanation of how an UNACTIVATED card could be compromised I received no valid answer! Been with Capital One over 25 years! My husband is looking into a new bank for our credit cards! No Branch office to go to! Shame on Capital One!!! This has been a nightmare!!!!
Customer service rep Supervisor activated my newly generated card before it was even shipped, and I don't know why. There was attempted fraud within a week of opening the cc account using virtual card. I never received a physical card and, I let them know the card went to the wrong address. For some reason, they couldn't call any of my phone numbers to verify my account. It's hard work having accounts with capital one. Eyeroll.
I called Luis and he was very helpful with a question I had regarding our accounts. He was courteous and very upfront. I really appreciated it as this is the nearest branch near us -- we are about an hour away.! He explained the different savings, etc. Very happy with the phone call help and if we need to go to a Capitol One branch, will go to this one!
Miss this bank. One employee, I believe his name is Glenn, always made my day woth funny things he did, like to know how he is doing. Everyone was very nice at this bank. Hate it closed, I have to go so far now but, I've never had a issue that wasn't fixed right away.
The absolute worst customer service. I will not be banking here for much longer, and I highly recommend others to bank elsewhere. These types of banks don't deserve to hold anyone's hard-earned money. The entire bank branch needs an over-haul from the smug condescending bank tellers to the branch manager that could care less about these rude, lazy, over-weight employees. If I were corporate, I would take a closer look at all the bad reviews online for this specific branch Capital One, something should be done.
I have tried repeatedly to call the number listed for this branch and cannot get connected to a representative. I'm trying to find out if the branch has a notary on staff so I can submit my beneficiary paperwork for the 2 CD's I recently purchased. Not even your main customer service knows or can connect me to the bank.
We use this branch for several years now. We like its staff professionalism and friendly atmosphere.. Especially we appreciate Mr. Will Berrynyw assistance who was very supportive and was always available to answer any questions we had. He is knowledgeable and highly qualified. We would highly recommend Mr. Will Berrynyw to anyone. Thank you for your help!
So unfortunate, NO early opening or Late Closing of branch office for convenience of office goers - Not in one or 2 days in week days. What a shame?
Will not give me my rewards been trying for over a month!!! 5 copy's of my DL and they still can't send me my rewards!!! Don't ask for your rewards its a living hell! They are not worth one star !!
I had tried for one week everyday on line & with reps., to open a CD acct. I already have a credit card with them. I had no success. The reps were unable to assist me. I was on line with the last one on Friday, after 45 minutes he asked to hold as he was trying to get help from another rep. I was holding & was cut off. I decided to forgot about the CD, to pay off my credit card & close the account.They don' t need me.
Also their answering system sucks, it takes at least 15 minutes or longer to get to speak to someone. It is an impossible system !
They won't let me withdraw, transfer savings to. My checking. On the phone 3 hours yesterday. No local branches in WDM Iowa, king to try again then getting a lawyer.
