History Of Fayetteville Bank
Fayetteville Bank, originally established as The Farmers National Bank of Fayetteville on February 16, 1917, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. On January 2, 1970, the bank changed its name to Fayetteville Bank and also shifted its chartering agency to a state-level institution while withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System. Over the years, the bank's main office has relocated multiple times: it moved to Main Street in Fayetteville, Texas, on January 30, 1985; to 123 North Washington Street on June 1, 2010; and finally to its current location at 107 West Fayette Street on August 26, 2013.
