I recently contacted customer service regarding an issue with making an online payment and setting up automatic draft. Instead of being provided with assistance or a workable solution, I was told the only option was to call every month to make a payment. When I asked to review the policy that supported this requirement, I was told it was an internal policy that could not be shared with customers.
This response not only failed to address my concern but also demonstrated a lack of transparency. The representative I spoke with, Sebastian (LaRosa, I believe), was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the conversation.
As a customer, I expect clarity, respectful communication, and solutions that make managing my account straightforward. Unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. This interaction has left me questioning this institution's commitment to customer service and care.
53 Bank Indianapolis Indiana has been asking for information that should already be on file. This seems very very uneasy in my mind.
I have no complaints about branches, and I do hope you resolve the one placed by Janice Basilica and if you have, you should respond here for others to see.
My complaint is with the automated system that is cumbersome and abusive to customers. I called on a Saturday morning about an issue not listed in the suggestions. But when I got to other options, it said no one is available to take my call and to call back. This was after going through a series of options. So, I went online and found that you opened for phone service at 10 on Saturdays. Why don't you add to call back and give the times for people to call back instead of just hanging up. I called and complained after 10 but the people who answer the calls and can only forward the complaints. I'm going to hold you to this and will complain again if you don't rectify this in a timely manner. You need to hire IT people who view things from the customer's perspective. That is a major problem with IT -- they don't follow the principles of "User Friendly" and / or "Audience," basic for providing enhanced communication.

If you prefer to interact with a representative directly, rather than scheduling an appointment or navigating a website prior to visiting your local bank, this institution is an excellent choice.
I have consistently found all the bankers to be exceptionally helpful, particularly Kristanna Vanwijland. During my numerous interactions with her, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to resolving any issues I encountered. The collaborative efforts of Kristanna and the entire staff contributed significantly to a positive and fulfilling banking experience.
Branch is conveniently located and has plenty of parking. It is full-service...tellers, safe deposit boxes, drive-up tellers, drive-thru ATM, and bankers for other bank services / products. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Yvette P. is a great manager.
This is one of the worst branches in Charlotte. The tellers are very rude and it is never a quick visit. Very unprofessional and condescending. STAY AWAY!!
Can't find a simple phone # for a window clerk to get an appontment with a banker.
This is a horrible bank. The customer service is terrible. You can NEVER get your online banking set up. It tells you to call the 800 number. Nobody on the other line knows what they're talking about. I was told to call back from my cell phone so they can verify me. I did that and then the next person I talk to said I have to wait two weeks for them to verify my number. I asked why and she told me "That's all the bank has to say about that" Terrible customer service reps who barley speaks English. I would NOT recommend this bank to anyone. I'm on here because the car dealer used them to finance my vehicle.
I paid a 72 month loan on a truck off in less than 3 years. I got some e-mails asking me if I closed this accounut. I responded that I did not, I paid the loan off and 5/3 bank closed the account. Fico dropped my credit score 37 points!!! I hope you can fix this for me!!
Could you build a Fifth Third Bank in Tucson Arizona please? And Las Vegas location is also desirable ! Thanks
This branch is closed. New location search street address. I strongly suggest you do not trust 5/3 Bank!!! Their add on fees and continued successful attempts to amass late fees to the tune of overdrawn $1700.00 over the Christmas holiday and ON THAT SUBJECT I Don't care HOW MUCH money you have rntrusted to them. They won't take their mistakes back as and correct them. These Bankers are basically thieves!
I have a mortgage with this bank. I ALWAYS pay my loan on time. I realized I hadn't received my bill in the mail, so I called. I was "randomly selected with other customers to receive paperless bills." I DON'T WANT TO GO PAPERLESS, OR I WOULD HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR IT. I am furious. I had to pay over the phone, a late fee was attached through no fault of my own, and my credit score will be dinged. Imagine how much money they made off of those who didn't catch it in time. Crooks! I don't know how this isn't against the law. I received no warning through mail or email they were going to "randomly select me." I turned them over to the Better Business Bureau. This has to be illegal. I will be taking money out of my investments to pay off the loan so they don't earn another dime off of my interest. Screw them as they screwed me.

I love this branch. The folks are great, really helpful and so friendly. I appreciate being called by name when I enter the door.
Is it permanently closed? There was lawn furniture in the spot earlier this week.

A Terrible place to bank. It's not just that they almost always only have 1 person working, even though there are others in the bank, employees and customers. Ashley (the asst. mgr.) who was waiting on me, accused me of being rude because "she didn't like how I set my insurance papers on the counter'?? Huh?, So, I became rude and told her that when customers are waiting in line, she shouldn't be gabbing with customers she knows about her family issues. Now, I'm rude!. Then, Sterling Thorton, her co-worker, starts getting involved and starts telling me to leave. Now, I hadn't sworn, raised my voice, threatened anyone... nothing...So I said...Just empty my accounts...I don't want to do business here anymore because of how you two are treating me. Sterling Thorton said several times, "I don't care" and "Doesn't matter to me" THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY. That is the same as Fifth Third telling me "They don't care" and they wouldn't give me my funds. What?? They threatened the cops on me. I had to drive 10 miles out of my way to the nearest 5th 3rd, just to do my business. I drained alot out of my account there.
I've had 3 mortgages and have been a customer for over 31 years! This is how Sterling and Ashley treated me...
But wait..
The Next day, I went back to the Grand Ledge 5th 3rd to drain the remainder of my funds, and I have ON CAMERA, STERLING THORTON calling me a Jackass several times, immediately after I told Him I drained my accounts, AND him throwing his hands up shouting "I DON'T CARE" SEVERAL TIMES.
After I left, I went back again to lodge a complaint, as it says to do... When ASHLEY SUTFIN asked me if I had recorded her co-worker... I said "maybe". ASHLEY SUTFIN immediately started screaming at me to "Delete that video immediately" while other customers were in the bank.. She lost it! Totally unprofessional. That is on the banks security cameras. She has no right to tell me to delete it. It has STERLING THORTON immediately calling me a"JackAss" and saying HE DOESN'T CARE. I said Not until I turn it into corporate! She then continued with her madness and included the other employees to get involved...And called the cops! I did nothing illegal. I waved as I left. The video is getting where it needs to go. ASHLEY SUTFIN never allowed me to file a complaint. THIS is the video she so MADLY wanted me to delete.

Best customer service take the extra step. I'm proud of these young folks. Hebron location not so friendly sort of lazy. Perfect example there are good hard working young folks. I'm 58
Trying to contact Tracy or Mark... can't log into my account via web browser, only android (phone). Every time I call the branch, I get voicemail. 352-451-3679 I had emergency surgery and need to sell some of my brokerage account off to pay for it.
So which of your banks still has a change machine, the one in Oak Lawn doesnt have one any more, and the new bank doesnt even have dividers between the tellers so everyone next to you sees all your business, theres no stanchions to form a line, you really went downhill with this new building.
Auto payment has been taken out of my account in several transactions without authorization from me. Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati is the merchants Bank that has been taking these unauthorized monies from my account. The merchant is doing this illegally and is a scammer. Yet when I tried to get these monies reversed I was told that your bank has not agreed.. would you kindly assist me?
COMM CAP APY F1 auto pay is the said name who has taken out 6 payments. I have been reimbursed thru my bank for 3 of these transactions only. Leaving me with 3 that I have illegally still not been reimbursed totaling $240.78. I have been working on this for months and still getting nowhere. Are you interested in helping me?
My bank has reported to me that you haven't taken responsibility for my loss.. Chase Bank has washed their hands of my loss. So my 40 plus years of using them will be severed as I have losses all confidence in them. I will be looking for another bank Perhaps I will send my monies to you if care enough to help me.

I am just pulling at straws hoping as a private innocent consumer can get my money stolen from me by what I feel is a scammer.
All of the Bankers have been very helpful - especially when I needed to determine the amount that had to be taken from my Ira before the end of this year. I was puzzled by the requirements and my personal banker figured the amount and handed me the check.
I deposited a small check on Saturday and as of Monday they couldn't tell me when I could have access to the monies... Even though I have my work and Gov.retirement direct deposit with them... I hate this bank.
