Mainland Bank

Mainland Bank was established on September 14, 1945, originally under the name First State Bank. The institution underwent several name changes over the years, becoming Mainland Bank & Trust Co. on April 23, 1957, and adopting the name Mainland Bank on February 27, 1967. The main office was initially located in Texas City, Texas, and it was relocated to 2831 Palmer Highway, Texas City, Texas on November 28, 1977. In 2016, the main office moved again to 2501 Palmer Highway, Suite 100, Texas City, Texas. On March 1, 2019, Mainland Bank merged with Investar Bank, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
