Old National Bank is a regional bank based in Evansville, Indiana, with a history that dates back to its establishment on August 27, 1907, as The Peoples National Bank of St. Francisville. In 1938, the institution changed its name to The Peoples National Bank in Lawrenceville, and further adopted the name Old National Bank on November 4, 1999, following its acquisition of Onb Bloomington, National Association. Since then, Old National Bank has significantly expanded through various acquisitions, including several banks across Indiana and other states. Notably, the bank acquired Permanent Bank in Evansville in July 2000, followed by multiple acquisitions that continued into the 2010s, such as Integra Bank National Association in July 2011 and Indiana Bank and Trust Company in September 2012. The bank's growth accelerated with larger acquisitions, such as Anchor Bank in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in November 2017 and First Midwest Bank in Chicago, Illinois, in February 2022. Unfortunately, both their website and app are subpar and not worthy of a professional organization, and certainly not a bank whom you should be able to have confidence and trust. If it wasn't for needing a safe deposit box, I would have left the bank years ago. Cannot understand what rumdums run the online services and apps.... Read more
I recently got a car loan through Old National Bank. Upon receiving the appropriate paperwork I went online and set up the auto payment to come out of my account on the FIRST of each month. My first payment came out on June 2 (a Monday), my second payment came out on July 1 (a Tuesday) and then all of the sudden my third payment came out on July 31 (a Thursday). This branch is a disgrace. Tellers are rude, angry, unprofessional and unkempt appearance. Should not be on the front line. I am moving to another bank. It use to be a pleasant, trustworthy bank (First Midwest) but now, I don't trust this bank to handle my money. Utterly shameful and management should be replaced.
